One of my most treasured items that I inherited from my Grandfather is a tray that he and my Grandmother used to serve guests with on their sailboat in the 50's. It has chart paper sealed under glass, trimmed in wood and brass cleats serve as handles. Here is a new version of that tray, updated with cleaner lines and a functionality its muse doesn't have. Made from laminated birch with the map sealed under a melamine coat which makes the tray waterproof.
