For years my husband and I have been on a mission to find the perfect Bloody Mary. The best we ever tasted was at The Stanton Social on the lower east side of NYC. The SS closed its doors in 2018 and our quest continued. Enter the Captain's Blend Bloody Mary Mix from the Cape's newest treasure, Lighthouse Keeper's, just down the road from me in Yarmouthport on the Cape. It is everything we love in a perfect Bloody Mary. It's thick, full of rich flavors from tons of spices and has just the right amount of horseradish. Rim you glass with my Sriracha salt, add a locally made vodka and toss in a Bloody Mary Tree covered in your favorite garnishes (I take mine with lemon, lobster claw meat, huge olives and bacon).
