One of my oldest and dearest friends has an appreciation for Marimekko like no other. His Aunt, P.M. Wilson was the first person to import Marimekko to the U.S. for her little store on the Cape. My creative trendsetting mother also loved the iconic patterns. My bedroom growing up was filled with the saturated signature colors and crisp backdrop of white.
