Cat & Dog Poems

What would we do without our pets?  One of my consistent joys is walking through the door at home, whether I have been gone half an hour or after a whole day at the shop, is Hal's greeting.  No matter how long I was away he treats me as if I had been gone on Safari for weeks.  He butt nearly flies of from the motion of his tag wagging furiously and then he must run off to find what we call "an offering".  Offerings are usually a well loved dog toy or one of our shoes.

These small books of poems touch all the highs and lows of having a dog or cat in your life.  I love these as a gift for a new pet owners and those suffering after the loss of their best friend.
