Cathy Shalvey Cape Cod Art Prints

I met Cathy at a workshop for makers and small business owners here on the Cape.  She is a visual artist, educated in Visual Design and Photography, spending the majority of her career as a graphic designer and communications specialist.  She has found inspiration in her coastal surroundings and from other artists including Joan Moreau McKeever who introduced Cathy to Washi Tape.  Cathy has created incredible collages depicting iconic Cape Cod scenes with intricate cut pieces of this fine tape.  These prints represent her mixed media work with Japanese Washi Tape and hand drawn illustrations.
