Nantucket Basket Chubby Pad

Two of my most treasured possessions were both made by my dear friend Danny, a gifted Nantucket basket weaver. The first is a huge basket that he gifted me for my 50th birthday, which a "few" years later has warmed to the most beautiful caramel color and is filled with a collection of stainless steel, wicker and shell orbs (sounds better than "balls").  The second is a Nantucket lightship basket that he made me last year.  He made it to my dream specifications, oversized, cherry wood and a natural ivory Herreschoff 12 1/2, also known as a beetle cat, on the lid.  Spectacular!

This fat pad of paper is a must for any preppy infused home. You can leave it out to jot down reminders or use a page in lieu of a notecard with a gift.
