Starfish Light

Growing up my mother often took me out of school for the entire month of February so we could have an extended February Break.  Probably not the best parenting, but my memories from those February's are long.  I collected shells, sand dollars and starfish.  I would dry them in the sun on the patio and bleach the sand dollars to a bright white.  This starfish sends me back to that magical time.
