We have had two sets of these plates in our main plate drawer for years. They are perfectly sized for a sandwich or a generous sized piece of cake. I have been a lontime fan of Melamine for its durability, especially with kids and a granite patio. Because they are lightweight they are perfect tucked into the beach tote and won't blow away like paper plates.
