Wood Soap Dish

The shop has been open for a few years and maybe three people have asked for soap dishes.  A few weeks ago six different people asked for one so I have been searching for one that I like to no avail.  Enter my dear customer Margie and her husband Jeff, a skilled woodworker.  I asked if he could come up with something for me and the very next day Margie brought in this soap dish.  It is better than anything I could dream up.

• Crafted from African Sapele wood that is resistant to decay
• The dish has been treated with tung oil to bring out the wood's beauty
• Made in Sandwich, on Cape Cod for Thatcher Ellery
